As result of the tumultuous 2016 election, and frustrated by negative racial bias in our public discourse, I founded HighestGround.TV in 2016 by consulting with news producers to integrate more Black and Latinx experts and sources into their national programming. Together, we're dismantling news media stereotypes.
This year, our team will begin challenging other media stereotypes by producing more human-interest stories with people of color at the center.
